What To Expect

What to Expect:

We use the term “Faith Family” a bunch around here. It’s what we consider ourselves. We want you to be a part of our family! Here’s what you can expect on a Sunday at First Baptist:

What We're Like:
You will encounter people from all walks of life. Some will be in jeans and a T-shirt, while others might like to wear a tie or a dress. We’ve had several guests say that our attendees are genuine and friendly …, and we agree. Guys here like to talk about the big fish they caught that weekend, girls like to laugh and hold babies, and our Senior Adults love our coffee. We strive to provide a relaxed, authentic environment that honors God and teaches the Bible.

When You Get Here:
When you walk up to the front doors, you’ll see a few smiling greeters who are excited to say hello and shake your hand if handshaking isn’t your thing, no big deal. We WON’T make it awkward.

If You Have Kids:
You can check kids into our nursery, which is in the main hallway down from the Sanctuary.  We take your kids’ safety very seriously, so we have a quick process to increase security. If you have any special needs or have some information that you would like our Kids Workers to know, please tell us! Just find someone with a name tag lanyard on. We want to give your child the best possible experience at First Baptist.

What We Do During Church:
We sing new worship songs, old hymns, and everything in between. If you like variety, we have it.

Pastor Chad teaches straight from the Bible. We are very serious about the authority of the Word of God, but we often have fun doing it. He frequently uses personal stories and experiences to make some things easier to understand. If you want to hear a sermon or two before you come, please feel free to do so. Just click watch or listen to any sermon online.

Pastor Chad will be in front of the auditorium at the end of the service. He would love to get a chance to meet you and just say hello.
